Introduction

One person can make a difference, especially with the Lord on your side. Therefore, you no matter who you are and wherever you are, you can make a difference. You are unique and you have a role to play and with your role, you impact someone. You do have to part of a group. You alone can make a difference. The difference can be positive or negative but let us focus on making a positive difference.

Example in the Bible

In the Bible, there are so many examples of one person making a difference in the lives of others.  Jesus was one person who was born and die to save us from sin. While he was on earth, he performed so many miracles. David was one person who was able to defeat and kill Goliath. Esther was one person who became Queen and was able save the destruction of the Jews. Joseph was one person who was able to be able to save the Israelites from dying of hunger. Moses was able to lead the people put of Egypt.

What difference can you make?

There are so many ways in which you can make a difference. One of the first things you can do is tell everyone about Jesus. God has commanded us to go and preach the gospel. You do not have to be a Pastor to do. If you do this, you can make a significant difference. Imagine telling one person about Jesus and then that one person tells his family and friends. Do you see the impact you can make. If we do this, our communities will be better because Jesus is the answer to our issues, not the Politicians, not the Governor and not the Commissioner of Police. Another thing you can do is to show love to others. There is too much hatred, and love covers a multitude of sin. God wants us to love one another.  You also can encourage someone daily. So many people are discouraged whether at home, school or workplace, so if you can encourage someone, you will make a difference. Also, a simple smile with someone can make a difference. Try smiling more. You never know who you will impact.  All of you can help someone. It may not be money but you have a gift that you can share with others so they can improve. Mentor someone, train someone and share information with someone. Finally, be trustworthy to others. Too many people do not trust anyone, and it is because they were betrayed. If someone can find someone who is trustworthy, you will be opening a door whereby someone can talk to someone rather than keeping everything to themselves.

Conclusion

There are so many ways in which one person can make a difference. Some of them are very simple and can go a long way such as being Kind. Don’t ever think you cannot make a difference. I believe you are on this earth not just for yourself but also to help others. Do not be afraid or think you cannot make a difference.
