Introduction

There is something special about our Miss Universe Turks and Caicos, Ms, Bereniece Dickenson. Ms. Dickenson’s beauty, her outfits, and the way she smiled, poised and conducted herself had my glued to the various platforms that showcased her. She has not only elevated Miss Universe Turks and Caicos to a higher level but also exemplifies the pride held by Turks and Caicos Islanders and residents.

A national costume that took flight

I watched her in that national costume so many times. It was innovative and breathtaking. For her national costume, she embodied the pelican, the national bird of the Turks and Caicos Islands—an iconic creature known for its grace and resilience. She not only wore a costume but also shared a story.  She brought meaning. She brought Turks and Caicos.

Flawless in every look

One of the most unforgettable aspects of Miss Dickenson’s journey has been her impeccable sense of style. Truly, everything she wore was flawless. From the bold confidence of her swimwear to the elegance of her many dresses, Bereniece delivered perfection each time she stepped out.

Her swimwear showcased her strength, poise, and athletic elegance—she walked with a confidence that radiated from the inside out. She moved with purpose, proving that empowerment and beauty go hand in hand. It wasn’t just about the swimsuit; it was about the powerful woman wearing it.

Next, she showcased a succession of gorgeous gowns, with each surpassing the previous in beauty.  She wore them with a regal presence that made every design come alive. Every color, every silhouette, every detail seemed made just for her. With her natural grace, she transformed each look into a signature moment.

Making TCI more proud

I don’t care what no one say, we are proud of Turks and Caicos Islands. Ms Dickenson’s representation made us even prouder.   Her presence made Turks and Caicos shine brighter than ever.

A contestant that stands above the rest – She is the best

I know I may sound biased but seriously I think she is the best candidate in the pageant. She exemplifies excellence, consistently demonstrating dedication, commitment, and a strong sense of identity throughout her professional journey.  And with her confidence and grace, she has also captured the eyes of other countries. I mean so many different podcasts recognized her and perhaps it was their first time hearing about Turks and Caicos.

Conclusion

We do not know what the outcome will be but one thing I know she has left a lasting impression not only on Turks and Caicos but the world. She will be our Miss Universe no matter what.
