Introduction

My ninth recipe for success is to believe.  The word of Lord says in Mark 11:24 that whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it and it will be yours. Believe that your marriage will be successful. Don’t ever go in your marriage thinking it will fail otherwise it will fail because that is what you believe. Believe that your employment or business will be a success. If you believe in something or someone, you will do what it takes to make it successful. There will be times when you will be confronted with adversities that may test your beliefs. Look beyond the adversities and focused on your vision. Believe in God. Believe that he did not bring you that far for you to fail. Believe in yourself and when you believe in yourself, you can be confident of your success.

Believe in God

You were not created to be a failure. You were created for a purpose and that purpose will bring you success. You were created by God therefore believe in God. Too many of us have beliefs in men and when men fail us we are disappointed and heartbroken. However, God will never fail us. In order to believe in God, you need to have faith. Many persons who are not even Christians are successful because of faith. The doctors diagnosed some of us with a health issue. Believe in God for a miraculous healing.

Believe in your vision

Your vision comes from within you. You may tell others about your vision and they may discourage you. Others may even try to steal your vision and run with it. While it is good to tell others about your vision, you do not need them to validate it for you. You need to believe in your vision. If you do not believe in it then how do you expect others to come along with you to ensure that the vision is being fulfilled. I remember when Cable & Wireless (the company that I previously worked for) changed its name to LIME. Each of us as CEO met in the Cayman Islands and then returned to our respective locations to introduce it to the staff. It was hard as I was not bought in with the vison and when I did the presentation, one of my employees came after the presentation and said I did not look convince or even convinced him about this new vision.

Believe in yourself

You need to believe in yourself. You need to believe that despite any shortcomings or weaknesses, you can still do it. You may not be from a wealthy family but you got to believe in yourself. You may have a past that you are ashamed of but you got to believe in yourself that that is the past and you have a great future. You got to believe that you can achieve your vision and you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you.

Conclusion.

Whatever you want to do, believe it can happen. You are what you think so believe what you want. It is natural to feel doubtful at times but never ever let that doubt be a part of your life. The moment you are about to have doubts, take it under control and rebuke those doubts and replace those doubts with faith.

Stop saying and believing that you can’t. Believe that you can.
