I believe everyone has dreams and visions for their lives. Some people have achieved their visions, some of us are struggling to achieve our visions and some of us don’t even know where to start. The first thing we need to do is to document your vision and the key step to achieve your vision is to believe in your vision.
Napoleon Hill stated that “Whatever your mind can conceive and believe, it can achieve.” Always believe in your visions no matter the obstacles you encounter or the length of time it takes to fulfill.
Everybody has visions
Joel 2:28 stated “And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.”
God has given you visions and dreams. Therefore, I don’t think your dreams and visions are coincidence and they are not just for you to dream about, they are given to you to do something with them.
I know some of you are wondering how you know what your vision is. First of all seek God and let the Holy Spirit direct you because you don’t want your vision to be based on what you see other people do. Your vision should be about you and quite frankly it is within your mind and heart. The things that you have been constantly thinking about for years and the things you want for your life may very well be your visions.
Document Your Visions
Once you identify your visions, document the visions. Habakkuk 2:2 “And the Lord answered me; Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, so he may run who reads it.” You see while you may have your visions in your head but when you write something down and keeping looking at what you wrote, you will be motivated to pursue your vision. Furthermore, you are following the instructions in the Word of God and if you follow the word of God, then success will follow.
Believe in Your Visions
Don’t just document your vision just to say you document something. Believe in your vision. If you don’t believe in your vision, then who else will. If you believe in something, you will do what it takes to get it done even when others discourage you or do not support you. Your visions may look impossible to achieve but if you believe, you can achieve anything. This is why it is so important to increase your faith for “faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen.” (Hebrews 11:1).
Some Visions may take long to fulfil
It is easy to give up on your visions when it appears your visions are taking a long time to achieve. However the Bible tells us in Habakkuk 2:3 “For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie, though it tarry, wait for it, because it will surely come, it will not tarry.”
Do not give up on achieving your visions. Be patient because your visions will take place.
Conclusion
Your vision is to help you pursue your purpose. Therefore, your vision is intertwine with your purpose. If you want to achieve your purpose, then believe in your vision.
