Sometimes your breakthrough comes through at the eleventh hour

Have faith and wait a little longer

Introduction

I don’t about you, but I used to be very impatient. However, over time, I have learned to put my trust in God knowing no matter how long I have been waiting for something, God will find a way for me to get that thing for me even if it is at the eleventh hour.

Do you remember the story about one of the criminals on the cross with Jesus? At the eleventh hour, while one of the criminals was hung on the cross, he said “Jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom.” Jesus answered him, “Truly I tell you, today you will be with me in paradise.” You see that criminal got saved at the eleventh hour.

Do you remember the story about Abraham and his son Isaac? When Abraham was about to sacrifice Isaac, a ram appeared at the eleventh hour and so Abraham was able to sacrifice the ram rather than his son.

The eleventh hour

The eleventh hour can be a very critical time in your life. It is that time that your breakthrough can take place. However, because we lack faith and patience, we may make premature decisions and not wait for your breakthrough.

I know sometimes things see impossible and you just don’t see anyway out of your situation. However, with God, all things are possible. I have a lot of experiences about the eleventh hour and that is why I no longer panic. God always comes through for me and he will come through for you.

I want to share a personal experience with you. As you know, I have an accounting business and so I provide services and I charge clients based on my time and my staff time. There are many times whereby some customers do not pay at all, or they pay late. This of course will impact the cash flow of the company and could delay in the payment of bills including the payment of salaries. There were many moments at the eleventh hour whereby it looked like I will not be able to pay my employees on time. However, on those occasions, God would send me new good paying clients at the eleventh hour which in turn allowed me to pay my employees on time.

Wait a little longer

Do not give up on your situation. I encourage you today to wait a little longer. Isaiah 40:31 states that “But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”

You see that waiting period is an opportunity to allow you to reflect on yourself and your wants and needs. You may discover that thing you thought you wanted may not be what you need. However, God knows your needs and he will supply them so just wait a little longer.

Your waiting period is an opportunity to test your faith and your relationship with God. Pass the test by waiting on the Lord.

Conclusion

When you don’t wait, you may compromise your integrity and faith in that you may commit some acts that are illegal just to get what you want or need. Do the right thing by putting your trust in God and increasing your faith. God will come through for you even if it is at the eleventh hour.
