No weapon formed against you shall prosper and every tongue that rises up against you in judgement. You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord. And their righteousness is from me. Says the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

To the faithful you show yourself faithful, to the blameless, you show yourself blameless, to the pure, you show yourself pure, but to the devious, you show yourself shrewd. You save the humble but bring low those whose eyes are haughty. You, Lord, keep my lamp burning; my turns my darkness into light. With your help, I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall Psalms 18?25-29

Introduction

Perhaps you are surrounded by a lot of pressure from International Organizations, society, family, Governments and your workplace and you feel that the pressure has engulfed you so much that you feel like you will fall at anything. The Bible says a double minded man is unstable in all his ways (James 1:8)

Stand firm in your beliefs even if you are standing alone. Do not be afraid and be weak like Peter who denied Jesus Christ three times. Be Bold and Be Courageous for the Lord thy God is with you.

Stand Up and Stand Firm

There are so much injustices taking place in the world and so many people are drifting away from the teachings of the Bible. Some churches are also moving away from the teachings of the word of God and in order to attract members and followers, they have compromised their relationship with God. Some politicians throughout the World are trying to please all the various groups in society and so they are amending laws to please them even if the laws are contrary to the Word of God.

There will come a time when the stand you make, maybe the minority. You may lose friends, family, clients and supporters over taking your stand. Stand up for something and stand firm. Blessings will return to you especially if you are standing on the word of God.

If others can take a stand for their religion and beliefs, then you should be able to take a stand for Christianity. For example, look at USA. The USA was founded on Christianity and everyone respected that. Today, more and more, the USA is moving away from the Lord and authorities are trying not to upset the feelings of the masses of people by doing everything they want.  One of the reasons this is happening is because there are not enough people standing up and speaking out on these topical issues.

Here in the Turks and Caicos Islands, if we do not take a stand, we too may end up like the USA. Well I have taken a stand to speak out on issues and to enlighten the public whether they are community, political or spiritual issues.

Expect the Attacks against you

The enemy (the Devil) is spreading his wings and unfortunately, some of you may have fallen for his trap. You are attacking individuals (physically and verbally) for speaking the truth. You are being used by the enemy without even realizing it. You are on a dangerous path to destruction with your attacks. You are creating a war by attacking the people of God. As a result you will see a lot of things happening in your life and you may be wondering why. It is because what you are doing is wrong. You will surely be defeated.

I encourage those persons who are being attacked, to never feel intimidated or have any fear. Do not let the attacks on you cause you to sit down. Remember any weapon formed against you shall not prosper and every tongue that rise up against judgment shall be condemned. This is your heritage and so this is one of the benefits of being a child of God. Therefore do not fight with your attackers for you wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities against powers, against rulers of darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places (Ephesians 6:12).

You will prospered while the enemy and the weapons will not

Job was a man of integrity who stood up for his belief in God. Satan attacked Job with leprosy. Job lost so much during this period of testing, but God restore him with twice as much as he had before including new children.

Joseph’s brothers were jealous of him and try to destroy his life. When Joseph went to Egypt, he stood firm in his belief in God and he always prospered.  In fact his brothers ended up bowing to him.

Always stand up for the Truth which is in the word of God. In the end you will prosper in everything you do.

Conclusion

If you are child of God, one that has a sincere relationship with him, you are protected from the enemy. No matter how they try to stop your voice, ruin your reputation, or hurt you, they will not succeed. Always stand up and stand firm and on the word of God for any weapon formed against you shall not prosper
