Success is not all about money; it is about achieving your desired goals.
Introduction
In 2021, I wrote my first book called Rise Up and Take Up Your Position where I encourage individuals to pursue their calling and passion. However, once you are in your position, you cannot take it for granted because you will face challenges and you may fail. It is important therefore for you to succeed in your position. Hence, I wrote my second book called Succeeding in Your position which is now available on Amazon and Barnes and Noble bookstore websites.
Success
People have many definitions of what success is and many times, we equate success with having a lot of money. However, in my opinion, success is not all about money but rather achieving or exceeding your desired goals. If your goal is to have a lot of money, then having a lot of money will be success for you. Likewise, if your goal is to own your own business and you have done that, then that is success to you. If your goal is to get a college degree and you have achieved that, then you are successful. If your goal is to have a successful marriage and if you have it, then you are successful. The point I am trying to make is that success for you may be different from success for me. In my opinion, success is defined or achieved by the goals that you set.
How to succeed?
There are many ways on how you can succeed, no matter what position you are in. You can be an entrepreneur, a father, a husband, a politician, a leader, a pastor, and the principles applied can help you to become successful.
In my book, I have shared my top 10 essential ingredients for you to succeed in your position. Obviously, you will have to get the book and read my top ten points for how to succeed in your position.
Of course, there are other points that are not covered in my book such as being disciplined, not giving up, working smart and staying focused. Furthermore, if we aim to be like Joshua, we can be successful. With that said, I want you to consider the words in Joshua 1:7-8 which states as follows. 7 “Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go. 8 Keep this Book of the Law always on your lips; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.
Conclusion
I encourage each of you to set your goals and goals that are measurable. Do not be bothered by what society dictates success but rather based your success on your personal goals. While we do need money for many things, don’t make money your priority. Otherwise, you may end up becoming very greedy and having the attainment of money as a God. I believe that once you pursue your passion and you become successful in your position, then money will flow to you. Even if money does not flow, the important thing is to achieve your goals.
